Deon Ben
Grand Canyon Trust is very proud of its employee, Deon Ben, who was recently awarded the Justin Willie Humanitarian Award for his work with Leupp Family Farms.
The award ceremony for the Justin Willie Agricultural Humanitarian Award began with a moment of silence for all past, present and future veterans. Willie served in the Marine Corps before establishing himself as a dedicated traditional Diné farmer, permaculturist and teacher. Read the rest of the Navajo-Hopi Observer story here.
