KAIBAB LAKE CAMPGROUND

Friday, July 6 – 10:30 AM: “Zephyr, Gale, and Walt the Water Drop” — Explore the world of wind, clouds, and water. Learn about the Beaufort Wind Scale, the classification of clouds, and create your own mini-kite!

Saturday, July 7 – 6:30 PM: “Why Don’t Pine Trees Grow in the Desert?” — As we travel in Arizona, we can see cactus, grasslands, and pine forests. Join naturalist Zack Zdinak to make your own discoveries about our mountain pine trees, wildlife, climate, and a famous scientist’s work in northern Arizona 123 years ago!
