About Our Plateau-wide Projects...

The Grand Canyon Trust has been working to protect and restore Coloado Plateau resources since 1985. Our current projects address address two related issues: air quality and clean energy. Compounding these issues are the effects of climate change.

  • Air Quality: Air pollution, originating largely from nearby cities and coal-fired power plants, is obscuring vistas across the Colorado Plateau. It is also impacting the Native American tribes who live in these areas. Learn more...
