Current job description:
Steve is the GIS Program Director and analyst. The focus of his program is utilizing GIS technology and related software and tools for conservation planning. He provides support for colleagues at the Trust and answers questions regarding geographic information for Trust staff, other conservation organizations, government agency planners, biologists, ecologists, and others.
Responsibilities:
Custom mapping of conservation areas in which the Trust is working
General conservation and environmental spatial analysis including roads and grazing analysis as it relates to conservation
GPS driven photo-monitoring, remote sensing of natural fire as it relates to ponderosa pine forest restoration
