Arizona's Climate Change Advisory Group (Back to Climate Change/Global Warming Index)

In 2005, Governor Janet Napolitano appointed the Trust’s Air and Energy Program Director to Arizona’s Climate Change Advisory Group (CCAG).

The CCAG’s objectives were two-fold:

• Establish a baseline inventory and forecast of greenhouse gas emissions in Arizona.          
• Produce an action plan with recommendations for reducing those emissions.

  The Arizona Climate Change Action Plan was completed in August, 2006.
