From 2014 to 2015, Grand Canyon Trust staff, interns, student groups, and volunteers, with assistance from Western Watersheds Project and Great Old Broads for Wilderness staff, completed a survey of biological soil crust (biocrust) conditions throughout Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
