Letter to Chairman Grijalva re: Grand Canyon Protection

On February 16, 2020, the Grand Canyon Trust joined partners in a letter to Chairman Raúl M. Grijalva, House Natural Resources Committee, in support of the Grand Canyon Protection Act, H.R. 1052. The legislation would permanently ban new uranium mining in the Grand Canyon region, and stop the threats that mining inherently poses to water quality and quantity, and to sacred places.
