Bowery Creek Campground

Escape into the cool aspens and spend a night at Bowery Creek Campground

Fish Lake lies in Utah’s high country, and at almost 9,000 feet elevation, the area boasts beautiful aspen groves, crisp temperatures, and great fishing. Bowery Creek Campground sits on the west shore above Fish Lake, where visitors are treated to water views. The campground is adjacent to Fishlake Scenic Byway, and the lake is just a short walk across the road.

The campground takes reservations for half of the sites, with the remaining ones offered as first come, first serve. Six group sites can accommodate between 20-30 people each. You can also reserve a group day-use picnic site for up to 100 people.

Activities in the area include fishing, boating, swimming, and hiking. The Fishlake Hightop (Pelican Canyon) Trail begins up the road at Pelican Point, while the Lakeshore National Recreation trail extends around the eastern side of the lake.
