When you stay at North Campground in Bryce Canyon National Park, you’ll catch technicolor sunrises and sunsets
Centrally located within Bryce Canyon National Park, North Campground is within walking distance of the visitor center, general store, Rim Trail, and Sunset and Sunrise points. At nearly 8,000 feet elevation, this campground offers cool nights and clear skies. Be sure to bring your star charts! Bryce Canyon, far from light pollution, boasts some of the starriest skies in the country.
Four loops make up the campground—Loops A and B for RVs only, and Loops C and D for tents only. Most sites are first-come, first-served, with the exception of 13 RV sites where reservations are accepted May-September. The campground fills up quickly during the peak summer months, but it’s a great basecamp if you want to explore the colorful amphitheater and spend a few days hiking the trails in the park.
