As the gateway to the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway, the Kamas Ranger Station is a great place to start your adventure into the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Forest service employees are on hand to answer questions, and you can browse through their assortment of maps and trail guides. You can also purchase the Mirror Lake Recreation Pass, which is required for all vehicles parked at picnic areas, campgrounds, and trailheads along the scenic byway.
