Sweetwater Revised Preliminary Permit Application

On January 14, 2020 Gridflex Energy, LLC and the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe submitted a revised application to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for a preliminary permit for a proposed hydroelectric project called the Sweetwater Pumped Storage Project. All but a portion of the project transmission line would be located on tribal lands within the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation.
