Louis Callister, Chairman - Lou Callister is chairman of the law firm of Callister, Nebeker & McCullough in Salt Lake City and is listed in “The Best Lawyers in America” in Banking Law. He is the immediate past president of and on the Board of Trustees of the Economic Development Corporation of Utah.
Pam Hait, Vice-Chair - Principal with STRATEGIES, she is former deputy director of the Arizona Office of Tourism, a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors, the Arizona Town Hall, the World Affairs Council, and Charter 100. She serves on the Advisory Council for Arizona State University Graduate College and ASU West Recreation and Tourism Department.
Ty Cobb, Secretary/Treasurer - Mr. Cobb is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and is profiled in Best Lawyers in America, Who’s Who in the World and An International Who’s Who of Business Crime Lawyers.
James E. Babbitt - Served as the president of the Board of Directors of the Museum of Northern Arizona and on the Board of the Flagstaff Main Street Foundation, Grand Canyon Chamber Music Festival, and the Grand Canyon Natural History Association.
Carter F. Bales - Carter Bales is co-founder and general partner of The Wicks Group of Companies, L.L.C., a private equity firm investing in the communications, information and media industries. He is currently a member of The Nature Conservancy’s President’s Conservation Council.
Anne Bingaman - Ms. Bingaman practiced law for 28 years in New Mexico and Washington, D.C., ending her legal career as Assistant Attorney General for Anti-trust in the U.S. Department of Justice, where she served under Attorney General Janet Reno. In 2002, she founded her current business, Soundpath Conferencing, an audio and conferencing service customized for large law and business clients.
David Bonderman - Principal in Texas Pacific Group, Mr. Bonderman was previously special assistant to the U.S. Attorney General in the Civil Rights Division, an assistant professor of Law at Tulane University, and a partner in the law firm of Arnold & Porter. He serves on the Governing Council of The Wilderness Society.
William D. Budinger - Bill is an inventor and holder of more than three-dozen patents. He's also founder and Co-chair, and CEO of Rodel, Inc.; a manufacturer of products used in the semiconductor industry worldwide.
Rob Elliot - Rob Elliott is a second-generation river runner, has guided in the Grand Canyon since 1965, and is the owner and President of Arizona Raft Adventures. He is also the Chairman of the Grand Canyon Conservation Fund administered through the Tides Foundation.
James Enote - Jim Enote is a wildlife conservationist with over 20 years consulting experience in land use planning and water issues. He specializes in helping indigenous peoples communicate their unique relationships to the land. Jim is also President of the Board of both Zuni A:shiwi Publishing and the A:shiwi A:wan Museum and Heritage Center.
Kevin Gover - Mr. Gover is a Professor of Law at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Prior to joining the faculty, Kevin practiced law in Washington, D.C. and Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he represented Indian tribes and tribal agencies in matters including water rights, housing, gaming, environmental regulation, taxation, and commercial transactions.
John D. Leshy - Leshy is President of the Wyss Foundation and a Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. Previously he was Solicitor (General Counsel) of the U.S. Department of the Interior (1993-2001). Leshy is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
Ivan Makil - Ivan Makil is the former President of the Salt River-Maricopa Indian Community who is now consulting nationally to Indian tribes. Ivan has had experience working with tribes located on the Colorado Plateau and has strong relationships with Arizona tribes.
Owen Olpin - Former Farr Professor of Law at the University of Utah, Owen is well regarded as a leader in Utah with excellent negotiating skills. Owen was a long-time Board member of Earthjustice/Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund and served on their Board for 25 years.
Eva Patten - While working as the Government Relations Coordinator for the Arizona Nature Conservancy, she directed the Arizona Heritage Fund Initiative effort. She was inducted into the Arizona Outdoor Hall of Fame in 1998 and was also a recipient of the Ben Avery Award for Environmental Leadership. She is currently serving as Board President for the Gallatin Valley Land Trust.
Amy Redford - Amy has the good fortune of being born and raised by both Manhatten and the North Fork of the Provo Utah Canyon at Sundance. She is an actress, activist, and producer. She has starred in various films large and small, and appeared in various television shows good and bad. She is a partner in Co-Op productions in New York for which she is currently producing a film entitled "The Guitar" that will be her debut as a director. Other production ventures include three television shows. She splits her time between the east and west.
Garry Snook - Garry Snook is Chairman/CEO of Performance Inc. He and his wife Sharon founded Performance Inc. in 1982 in the basement of their home. The company has grown to be the largest specialty retailer of bicycle product, plus the largest direct merchant of cycling products through their three unique catalogue and internet companies. In 1968, he and Sharon spent their honeymoon at the Grand Canyon, which for Garry began a long-term love affair with both Sharon and the Canyon. He serves on the Grand Canyon Association Board and the Duke Fuqua Board of Visitors. He spends any available time hiking and backpacking.
Jennifer Speers - Jennifer Speers is on The Nature Conservancy board in Utah. Among other accomplishments, she bought a ranch on the Colorado River from TNC to protect it, bought out a subdivision across the road and tore down the $600,000 model home and planted native grass, making her a hero to those in the conservation movement.
Rebecca Tsosie - Professor Rebecca Tsosie, J.D., has served as Executive Director of the top ranked Indian Legal Program in the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University since 1996. Professor Tsosie has written and published widely on doctrinal and theoretical issues related to tribal sovereignty, environmental policy, and cultural rights.
Charles Wilkinson - Charles Wilkinson is the Moses Lasky Professor of Law at the University of Colorado, with primary specialties in federal public law and Indian law. A lawyer, who has represented Native American people for many years, Charles is also well known as a writer about the Colorado Plateau, including Crossing the Next Meridian and Fire on the Plateau.
Hansjörg Wyss - President and CEO of Synthes, an international company that manufactures and distributes surgical implants and instruments. Mr. Wyss is a member of the governing council of The Wilderness Society.
