What Can You Do?
Volunteer with the Grand Canyon Trust and help us extend our reach and positive influence on the ground. We need your help with everything from building protective fences to gathering crucial scientific information on beavers, cottonwood, aspen, willow, and riparian areas.

Our goals for southern Utah’s “three forests”
The Grand Canyon Trust’s work focuses on the Dixie, Fishlake, and Manti-La Sal National Forests, which are located in southern Utah. We work to encourage forest management that:
- Restores healthy populations of native species and the natural resilience of ecosystems
- Gathers and uses objective, repeatable field data and other scientific information on previously-neglected species and conditions on the forests
- Welcomes the options that diverse public members bring to forest decision-making
- Takes particular care of water for the forests and future generations.
