There’s nothing like a little friendly competition to spur innovation—the space race got us to the moon, after all. So we’re calling all Native American entrepreneurs to pitch us their best and brightest ideas for the Innovation Challenge, a contest designed to address challenges in tribal communities. The winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize, along with a year of business counseling ($15,000 value) to help turn the idea into reality.

Innovation Challenge Details
The competition, hosted by the Native American Business Incubator Network (NABIN) and Catapult Design, is open to people of Native American, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian decent. The idea or solution you present, however, must positively affect tribal lands in the Southwest. Learn more about the competition requirements ›
The first round of applications are due March 17, and the 10 applicants who make it to the second round will be asked to create a video. We’ll announce the winners in June, following a pitch day for six finalists.
Prizes include:
- 1st place: $5,000, plus a year of business incubation through NABIN
- 2nd – 4th place: A year of business incubation through NABIN
