Join author Craig Childs on Zoom to hear about his love of the desert Southwest

In “Tracing Time,” storyteller Craig Childs contemplates the Colorado Plateau’s rock writings — from bighorn sheep, to spirals, to human figures etched in stone. With a spirit of generosity and humility, Childs invites readers to look and listen deeply.

Please join Childs and Grand Canyon Trust members and volunteers on Tuesday, June 3 to chat about his books and shared love of the Colorado Plateau. All attendees will have a chance to win one of three signed copies of “Tracing Time,” and one additional winner will be selected to receive his new book, “The Wild Dark: Finding the Night Sky in the Age of Light.

About the book

Tracing Time holds in it voices that echo across years and also the adorned walls off of which so many stories have been refracted through time.” — CAMILLE T. DUNGY, author of Soil: The History of a Black Mother’s Garden

Tracing Time is an engaging glimpse into a world both fascinating and fundamentally unknowable to those who aren’t born into it.” — R. E. Burrillo, author of Behind the Bears Ears
