Deidra Peaches (Diné) is a director, producer, editor, and writer. Deidra was born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona, and is happy to call this region home. Deidra attended Northern Arizona University for two years before venturing into professional filmmaking. In 2011, Deidra produced and co-edited "The Rocket Boy," an official selection at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, which led Deidra to co-found the independent media company Paper Rocket Productions with cinematographer Jake Hoyungowa. Deidra works with the Grand Canyon Trust to elevate stories in the Colorado Plateau region.
As the long-forgotten peoples of the respective continents rise and begin to reclaim their ancient heritage, they will discover the meaning of the lands of their ancestors. That is when the invaders of the North American continent will finally discover that for this land, God is red.
