Laura grew up in southern Maine and recently moved to western Colorado after visiting family and falling in love with the Colorado Plateau. She loves trail running and exploring the natural beauty of the area. Laura spent time doing grassroots work in South Africa during college and then worked on Nepali women’s health during graduate school. She holds a master’s degree in international relations, development, and humanitarian assistance from Syracuse University. Laura is passionate about supporting environmental and social justice and is excited to work with the Grand Canyon Trust in developing a plan to address climate change in the region.
